Yorklyn Arabians
Arabian horses have a special refinement all their own. Ask any breeder or horse enthusiast, and they will surely tell you of the gentle grace, unfaltering loyalty, and amazing beauty of these magnificent horses. They hold long in their history and breeding the blood of the horses of the Pharaohs. These legendary animals are told of in thousands of Arab stories... their heads always held high and tails flagging behind them, as their hooves beat in the ground retelling the legend again and again in a low rumble.
Yorklyn Arabians farm was started by Ahmad Amer. Mr. Amer was especially impressed by the lineage of the Straight Egyptian collection of Mohammed Ali Pasha and Abbas Pasha, the rulers of Egypt.
Intrigued by the stories and Arabian poems about black stallions and their brave riders, Mr. Amer purchased his first champion, a black stallion, Dur Ibn Nazeer. The seed was planted with that champion and today Yorklyn Arabians has grown to include the original farm in Delaware, Yorklyn Arabians and a second in Cairo, Egypt Al Kahira Arabians. Both farms strive to continue and improve the line of Straight Egyptian Arabians for which Yorklyn Arabians is famous.
